Hello! My name is Angi Elliott and I am so excited to get to know you. Welcome to KidZone Preschool & Childcare. Here is a little bit about myself.

I have been married to Michael since 2001 and have three pretty amazing kiddos. We have a 22 year old daughter, Hannah, a 19 year old son, Connor, and a 17 year old son Brayden. They amaze me every day as they develop into their own little persons and explore this world through daily life. 

As of 2023 I have been in Early Childhood Education for almost 17 years. I have worked in all settings of Preschool and Childcare including: Shelby Central School Corporation / Golden Bear Preschool for 6 years teaching 3-5 year olds, Co-Op Preschool in northern Indiana for 2 years, Home Based Childcare and Preschool for 4 years, and Center based preschool in Richmond, Indiana for 2 years. 

I have a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources, Early Childhood Education Degree, and Early Childhood Administration Degree. Early Childhood Care and Education is so often mistaken for babysitting. My mission is to educate and inform our community otherwise. Early Childhood Education is the foundation for all humans. We develop the most and the fastest in the first 5 years of life. In the first year alone we develop faster than any other age. It is in these beginning stages of life we are setting the foundation for who we will be in adulthood. My mission is to come alongside all children in our community and help cultivate a firm foundation during the developmental years of birth - 5 and launch them into elementary, middle school, high school, and eventually into our community as contributing members of our society ground ready to take on the world. This all starts the first 5 years of life. 

Jesus…..he is a redeemer and a rescuer he allowed me to find healing and peace in a chaotic world. He left the 99 to find me. I am so grateful he did. Jesus is the answer to all. I am so excited to be able to share what Jesus has done in my life and how he can come into your life and do the same.

Sharing the love and healing of Jesus mixed with Early Childhood Education is a dream come true for me. Walking into my job daily is like a dream.

Jesus has made this all possible and continues to allow us to be his hands and feet in our community reaching those he is seeking. Leaving the 99 to find the 1.
