Our Mission

The mission of KidZone Childcare and Preschool is to provide a high-quality early childhood learning experience that meets the developmental needs of all children ages 6 weeks – 5 years old. At the same time, inspiring them to love and appreciate the world of Loose Part Play through intentional teaching using natural and nature-based experiences. Our unique nature-based curriculum combines traditional Kindergarten readiness learning with developmentally appropriate educational activities designed to develop children cognitively, emotionally, socially, academically, and build interpersonal relationships with a focus on discipling all children in a relationship with Jesus.

Our Philosophy

At Kidzone Preschool and Childcare, we believe that nature plays a vital role in young children’s physical, emotional, social, academic, spiritual, and cognitive development. When children Play to Learn, they Learn to Play. Intentional hands-on teaching experience through play is vital for a child’s growth in the early childhood educational years.

Research shows that children who spend time in nature are healthier, think more clearly, have an easier time paying attention, and can cope more effectively socially and emotionally.

Childhood experiences in nature help stimulate children’s curiosity and interest in the world around them and help them grow intellectually in their desire better to understand the world and their place in it.    

While creating a learning experience filled with developmentally appropriate learning experiences, we firmly believe that Jesus is our firm foundation. 

For children to have a solid and firm foundation, they must be grounding in Jesus, have a love of learning, and knowledge and skills to integrate the deep love for learning into their daily lives.

We create Christ-centered and life-changing experiences that help children become disciples for life.

KidZone Preschool and Childcare creates children who know Jesus intimately, love him passionately, and serve him selflessly.

In KidZone Preschool and Childcare, we are engaging with children to maintain a positive relationship by developing social and emotional skills. We have a full inclusion method where we deeply engage all children and staff daily.

We believe that children need time to be themselves: children. They need ample opportunities to play, practice, work out social skills with other children in a safe environment, and gain self-confidence and self-esteem while being guided and directed as needed to respond as the scriptures tell us to maintain the whole and complete social and emotional foundation.

We believe that a child’s interaction with nature and natural experiences through intentional teaching allow for the development of a lifetime of skills that will successfully set the stage for projecting into adulthood.

We believe that helping children develop a relationship with Jesus will create socially and emotionally competent children who grow academically and cognitively and is the best foundation for their future.

The experiences of their early childhood years will last a lifetime. With trauma on the rise KidZone Preschool and Children seeks to serve those in our community who desire a preschool and childcare program who will come alongside their family and pour into their child spiritually and academically while fostering a deep relationship with them and their family.

We believe in partnering with families to develop a close relationship to ensure the success of their students academically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. We take a holistic approach to coming alongside students and families.
