Hello! My name is Gabbi Smith. I am so excited to be a part of KPC Ministry and work alongside you. Here is a little bit about me!

I grew up in Fairland, IN. I have lived in Shelby County all of my life. I have been with my fiancé for 5 years and we have been engaged for almost 1 year. We will be getting married this September! Recently, my free time has been going towards wedding planning. I have one dog named Ace. He is a beagle lab mix that we rescued.

I graduated from Triton Central in 2017, where I currently coach middle school and high school girls tennis. I began my undergrad at Franklin College and finished in August of 2020 through IU East in Richmond with my B.S. in Psychology. In the spring, I will begin graduate school to obtain my masters in clinical counseling with a focus in pediatrics. I have worked with children and in a Pre-K/Daycare setting since I graduated High School. I have 4 nieces (1, 4, 7, & 9) that I love dearly and babysat from the time they were a month old until they were toddlers or older.

I have gone to church all of my life. I was raised baptist from birth until 5th grade when my family decided to leave my family church and change to a nondenominational church. God has been the center of my life through all decisions from marriage, schooling, jobs, etc. I know I was placed in Early Childhood Education for a reason. I have a passion for children and am eager to help them grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. With my psychology degree I have a strong passion for sensory, fine motor, gross motor, and so many more skills. I spent much of my undergraduate years specifically focusing on young children and how they learn. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for Kidzone Preschool & Childcare staff and community. 

Kidzone Preschool & Childcare is one of a kind. How fun that you get to teach about Jesus Christ in a childcare setting to children of all ages! I cannot wait to meet you all and will continue to keep you in my prayers!
