Hi, I’m Valerie McDonald and I am excited to get to know you!

I have been married to my incredible husband for 25 years. We have 2 super fun children-Rachel who is 19 and a Freshman at Purdue and Caleb who is 15 and a Freshman at Southwestern. We recently moved to Shelby County after living in Greenwood for 16 years. God knew exactly where we needed to be! We love it here in Shelby County! I was a stay at home mom for 10 years when our kids were young. From 2015-2023, I was a preschool assistant teacher and a substitute at Mount Pleasant Christian Church Preschool in Greenwood. 

I enjoy spending time with family, scrapbooking, traveling, cooking & being outdoors. 

I gave my life to Christ when I was a teenager & through the highs & lows of life-God has been with me through it all! He is my savior, my hope & my help! 

I’m so thankful to be joining KPC as a substitute so I can be part of an amazing group of teachers who share in the passion of teaching children about the awesome love of Jesus! I’m so excited to get to know your amazing kiddos and your wonderful families!
